Adventure Hikes

Unleashed Dog Adventures offers off-leash adventure hikes for small groups of well socialized dogs in the beautiful mountains of the West Kootenay’s.  We take pride in limiting the number of dogs that join our adventures and ensuring that each client is a good fit for group. By doing so we are able to monitor each and every dog throughout the hike, keeping an eye on their dynamic in the group, guaranteeing  their safety and most importantly having a physical and fun romp with their buddies.

Unleashed offers 2 hour hikes with pick-up and drop-off included.  Your dog will go and explore new trails, mountains and creeks and depending on when in the day they are picked up be out of the home from 2.5 to 3 hours.  We take great pride in offering organic beef jerky as treats and bringing home your best friend towelled off, happy and tired.

If you believe you and your loved one could benefit from an Unleashed adventure, the first step is a consultation.  During the meeting, I will come to your home, we can go through the client forms and make certain I have the information to take the best possible care of your canine family member.  After that, I will then take them out on a free hike to assess their behaviour first hand. A consult takes about 30 minutes followed by a one-on-one hike as Laura and your dog get acquainted and start building their relationship.   I will email you the appropriate forms to complete before our consultation, as well as our rates and policies to review. The more information I have about your dog, the better I can safely care for them!

Please contact us to set up a consultation time.

We are your professional and trusted dog walker and boarder in the West Kootenays and are currently hiking in Salmo, Ymir, Fruitvale, Trail, Warfield, Rossland and Castlegar.
